About these terms
By using lapatrips.com or buying a Lapa Trips guide, you agree to these terms. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
What we sell
Lapa Trips sells downloadable trip-planning guides. We do not book hotels, tours, transport or any other travel service, and we are not a travel agency.
Planning information only
Fees, opening hours, schedules, road conditions and entry and insurance rules change often. Each guide shows the date it was last verified. Check official sources before you book or travel. Travel involves risk, and you are responsible for your own decisions, safety and bookings.
Your license
When you buy a guide, you get a personal, non-transferable license to download and use it to plan your own trip. You may print it and keep copies for yourself and your travel companions. You may not resell it, post it online, share it publicly, or use it in another product.
Our content
The guides, text, maps, design and the Lapa mascot belong to Lapa Trips. Names and links of other businesses belong to their owners.
Links to other businesses
Our guides and site may mention or link to hotels, tour operators, shuttle companies and other businesses. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, prices or service.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Lapa Trips is not responsible for losses, delays, costs or injuries connected to your trip, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the guide. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive by law.
Changes
We may update our guides and these terms. The date at the top shows when these terms were last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
